SHERGARH TENTED
CAMP
Shergarh is the creation of naturalist Jehan Bhujwala and his English
wife Katie, whose aim is to ensure a personalized and specialized wildlife experience
to every guest Shergarh Tented Camp is a Jungle Lodge located near Mukki Gate
of Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Six cozy tents are individually
spaced inside a wooded grove to provide privacy. Each has a large front verandah
and an attached bathroom with piping hot showers. Thatched roofs house each tent
and are watered in the hot months to ease off rising temperatures.
Wholesome
Indian and Continental food prepared from homegrown vegetables, local produce
and fish farmed from our lake is served in the Main House. Surrounded by deep
verandahs, the house looks out on to an array of bird life displaying on the water,
and serves as a central meeting point to exchange stories around an open fire,
or to relax quietly with a book from our library.

Library: Surrounded by deep verandahs,

How to Reach :
The quickest entrance is to fly to Raipur, followed by a 4 to 5 hour drive. Raipur
is connected with most major cities, though Nagpur - 6 hours can be an easier
option with more regular flights.
The closest train station is Gondia
Junction followed by a 3-hour drive. Other nearby rail connections are : Jabalpur
- 5 hours, Bilaspur - 6 hours, Raipur and Nagpur. All stations are well connected
with major cities.
Car journey times between local popular destinations
are Pench Tiger Reserve - 4 hours
Bandavgarh Tiger Reserve
6 to 7 hours
and Kawarda Palace3 to 4 hours.
TULI
TIGER RESORT 
Situated in the heart of Kanha, the Tuli Tiger Resort beckons Tiger lovers
from all over the World to come and explore Kanha. The Resort has a setting, which
makes you feel that you are camping out in the jungle itself, but with the full
security and comfort that has become a trademark of the Tuli Group. This resort
comes to you from the "Tuli International" people and lives up to the Tuli reputation

and along with it the true beauty of Kanha.
This resort is well placed
in the buffer zone of the Park. It has a natural lake created in its boundary
that extends to 80,000 sq. meters. It is adjacent to a rivulet which meets the
main river called Banjar at a distance of about 100 meters.
Location
: Entry in to the park is from Khatia-Kisli & Mukki only.
State transport buses are available from Jabalpur. A changeover is necessary at
Bamni while approaching from Nagpur. Taxi's/ jeeps are available at Jabalpur &
Nagpur.
